The PUTZMEISTER silo engineering with sliding frame technology is a reliable oleodynamically operated system for the extraction of highly dewatered and highly viscous sludge from a cylindrical silo.
The system can also be used for the extraction of bulky material.
The discharge of the material from the
silo bottom is accomplished by a reciprocating sliding frame, which directs
the sludge to a twin-screw auger which
doubles as the charging screw for a
Putzmeister high density solids pump or
to other discharging arrangements for
truck loading. The application-specific sliding frames can be supplied as ladder system (PDL) and as cylindrical silo discharge system (PDF). The ladder system with several parallel sliding frames is ideal for wide and long receiving bunkers.
Due to the fact that the product will be loaded from the top and unloaded at the bottom, there is a "first in first out effect" and the the possibility of mixing is avoided.
Putzmeister offers engineered silos and bunkers of 10 m3 to over 1000 m3 capacity for loading trucks and for further transport of the sludge by high density solids pumps.
