 Lime slaker

Lime slaking:
For many facilities with high lime consumption, it is advantageous to handle the lime slaking onsite, because quicklime is less expensive than hydrated lime.

The principle is to dose the quicklime into a mixing tank to have a high concentration. An exothermic reaction begins when quicklime comes into contact with water, releasing heat.
