Function:
The equipment consists of an inlet chute, which receives the metered product, and spiral which transfers it to the injection point. The motor power and the spiral section are over sized to reduce the strengths created by moisture. In operation, the moisture of steam are caught by product bucking created by the spiral. The spiral cleans by itself eventual crust. When the installation stops, the injector runs until it is empty thanks to a timer. At the re-start the spiral will crush and eject any solidified material residue.
